There are a million recipes for power balls out there, and I've experimented with MANY. After a lot of trial and error, I have finally landed with this one. Its REAL simple, and the BEST tasting energy balls I've had so far!

Smooth, salty, & buttery.... this is the only power ball recipe you will ever need!
Ingredients
All you need for these power balls is almond flour, Medjool dates, raw almonds, high quality salt, vanilla extract & desiccated coconut. The use of almond meal gives these a smooth texture, perfectly combined with the crunch of the raw almonds. Salty, buttery and guilt free! I recommend using exactly the ingredients listed.
I like to keep all of these ingredients in the pantry, so I can whip these up any time. With a food processor and (probably less than) 10 minutes of your time, you will have healthy snacks ready for the week!

Use a tablespoon measurer to get each ball the same size. I have used a 1.5 tablespoon measuring spoon, and it makes 12 large protein balls. Wet your hands a little bit to stop the mixture sticking to your hands as you roll.

Power Balls For Energy! Not Just a Snack
Not only are these power balls great for a quick snack on any occasion, but they are also great first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, before exercise. It can be tricky waking up early to go for an intense workout (running, cycling), knowing that you will need some energy, but can't exactly stomach food.
If that's you, try having one or two of these! The dates are gentle on an empty stomach, and are known to help digestion. The dates high sugar content will give you a burst of energy, whilst the protein & fat content in the almonds will help keep you full and satisfied. These are my go to "breakfast" before cycling in the mornings, and my go to snack in the afternoons before climbing
