Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- 1½ tablespoon peanut butter
- 2 Medjool dates pitted
- ½ - 1 cup of plant milk I like to use soy milk but any kind of milk is okay
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 1 handful of ice optional
- 1 scoop protein powder optional, refer to blog notes
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend smooth. Stop and start the blender as necessary to ensure the frozen banana and ice are combined.
Add more ice or frozen banana for a thicker smoothie. Add more milk for a less thick consistency.
