Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots
  • 4 thumb turmeric 4 thumbs / 100 grams with skin on
  • 1 thumb ginger 1 thumb / 4 cm length / 25 grams with skin on
  • 3 teaspoon honey
  • ¾ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare your juicer.
  • Cut turmeric, ginger, and carrots into pieces that fit into your juicer.
  • Juice all the ingredients.
  • Pour into 6 small shot jars.
  • Add a pinch of black pepper and ½ teaspoon of honey per shot. Mix well (a chopstick works great for this!).
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Shake well before consuming.

Alternative method (if you don’t have a juicer):

  • Blend all ingredients with a small amount of water or fresh orange juice.
  • Strain the mixture using a cheesecloth to remove the pulp.
