Equipment

  • 1 juicer or a blender with cheese cloth or a strainer

Ingredients

  • cup pineapple, chopped 165 grams
  • ½ bunch spinach 100 grams
  • 2 cucumbers
  • ½ celery bunch ends cut off
  • 1 lemon, whole no need to remove the skin
  • 1 bulb fresh ginger

Instructions

  • Wash and prepare the ingredients: Start by washing all the ingredients thoroughly. Remove the skin and core of the pineapple, if necessary. Cut the cucumber, lemon, ginger and celery into smaller pieces for easier juicing.
  • Set up your juicer: Place a glass or pitcher under the juicer's spout to collect the juice. Make sure the juicer is clean and ready to use.
  • Start juicing: Begin by juicing the trickier greens (spinach, ginger, cucumber) and then follow with the pineapple, lemon, and lastly the celery. This is to ensure that the juicer runs smoothly. You may need to alternate between the leafy greens and the celery to help push the spinach pulp through the machine.

  • Mix and serve: Once all the ingredients have been juiced, give the mixture a good stir to combine the flavors. Pour the green juice into a glass, and if desired, add ice cubes for a refreshing touch. It is best to enjoy immediately to get the most out of its nutrients, but it can last up to 2-3 days in the fridge.
