Scoop and freeze: Cut your watermelon in half and scoop out the flesh of one half. Place it into a large container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
Prep the limes: Juice the limes and remove any seeds.
Soften the watermelon: Take the frozen watermelon out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 20 minutes. Alternatively, microwave it for 1 minute to slightly soften and separate the frozen pieces.
Blend: Add the frozen watermelon, lime juice, maple syrup, salt, and water to a high-speed blender. Blend until you reach a smooth, slushie consistency. You may need to stop and scrape the sides or stir between pulses depending on your blender.
