Equipment

  • 1 Food processor or blender

Ingredients

  • 3 mangoes ripe

Instructions

Prepare the Mangoes:

  • Peel and dice them into small chunks.
  • Spread the mango pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they don't touch each other.
  • Place the tray in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until the mango chunks are fully frozen.

Blend into Sorbet:

  • Transfer the frozen mango chunks into a high-speed blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary. If the mixture is too thick, let it sit for a couple of minutes to soften slightly before blending again.
  • At first, the blended mango will look crumbly rather than smooth. This is completely normal! Keep blending and occasionally scraping down the sides of the blender. Once you scoop the mixture, the texture transforms into a creamy sorbet consistency.

Serve Immediately

  • Enjoy the mango sorbet immediately for a soft-serve consistency.
