Instructions
Slice the Tempeh: Cut the tempeh into thin slices, about ½ cm thick, for optimal crispiness.
Prepare the Air Fryer Basket: Place the tempeh slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
Air Fry the Tempeh: Cook the tempeh at 180°C (350°F) for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how crispy you like it. Check the tempeh regularly during cooking to prevent overcooking.
Optional Additions: If you prefer, before cooking, lightly spray the tempeh with olive oil and sprinkle with salt for added flavor. This step is optional if you want to keep the recipe completely oil-free.
