Equipment

  • 1 Blender

Ingredients

  • 300 grams silken tofu
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips 100 grams
  • 1 tablespoon cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt optional but recommended

Instructions

  • Start by melting the dark chocolate chips. You can do this using a double boiler or by microwaving them in short bursts, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. I use the microwave to melt mine.
  • In a high-speed blender, add the silken tofu, melted dark chocolate, maple syrup, and cocoa or cacao powder. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy, scarping down the sides as necessary to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Transfer the chocolate mousse mixture to serving dishes or glasses of your choice. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
