How To Make A Sambal & Petai Fried Rice

How to make a delicious and easy sambal petai rice dish! This fried rice recipe uses 3 ingredients: sambal, petai, and rice!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sambal
  • 2 cup rice cooked (and from the night before is best)
  • 1 handful petai beans
  • 2 tablespoon oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Peel the petai and slice in half to ensure there are no worms inside.
  • Add oil to a large wok or pan and bring to a medium heat.
  • Add the petai beans and sautéed for 1 minute.
  • Add the sambal and continue to sauté for another minute.
  • Add the cooked rice (from the night before is best) and continue to mix until all of the ingredients are well combined.
  • Compress the rice slightly into a small bowl and flip onto a plate.
  • Serve and enjoy!
