Ingredients

  • 1 punnet strawberries
  • 1 punnet grapes
  • 1 banana
  • 1 bag mini marshmellows
  • 1 bag toothpicks or skewers

Instructions

Slice the banana

  • Cut the banana into round slices—these will become the trim of Santa’s hat.

Trim the strawberries

  • Remove the green tops so they sit flat on top of the banana slice.

Prepare the grapes

  • Choose large, firm grapes for the “body” of the skewer. Green grapes work best for contrast.

Assemble each Santa hat

  • Slide a grape onto the toothpick.
  • Add a banana slice.
  • Add the strawberry (pointed side up).
  • Finish with a mini marshmallow as the pom-pom.

Serve in a bowl or on a platter

  • You can pile them into a bowl, or create a full Christmas fruit platter using other fruits alongside the Santa hats.
