Are you on the hunt for a good vegan breakfast in Kuala Lumpur?
It wasn't that long ago that it was almost impossible to find vegan food in Kuala Lumpur. Vegans were forced to modify the existing menu's, or stick to a plate of fries. However, in the last year, vegan food has grown tremendously in Kuala Lumpur, with many vegan specific options appearing on menu's.
Vegan Breakfast In Kuala Lumpur
More specifically, the vegan food trend has hit the breakfast scene more than ever. This list is all of the places I have tried, or want to try. The breakfast is Western style breakfast (think brunch / coffee / hash-browns and smoothie bowl type food. This is the type of food I seek when after a vegan breakfast in Kuala Lumpur!
1. Nourish by Kenny Hill Bakers
Nourish by Kenny Hill Bakers is a leader when it comes to vegan breakfast food in Kuala Lumpur. It has several options for vegans, including a big vegan breakfast fry up with beyond sausage, a chunky monkey granola bowl, and the granola yoghurt bowl.
I have tried all of these options and can safely say they are all tasty! My favourite is the granola yoghurt bowl. Make sure to ask for the vegan option, and the staff will swap out the greek yoghurt for coconut yoghurt. Simply delicious!
Also, the hash browns here are unbeatable!
