This is an incredibly easy peanut butter and jelly smoothie recipe. It's made with only 5 ingredients and uses mostly whole foods. This means that it is not only tasty but also very healthy!
Ingredients in a Peanut Butter And Jelly Smoothie Recipe
This recipe calls for 4 essential ingredients plus an optional sweetener of choice (if you like your smoothies extra sweet) and some spinach (if you like to add greens to your smoothie recipes).
The essential ingredients include:
•💜 1 cup of frozen raspberries. The raspberries are your "jelly" in the smoothie and can't be skipped! If you don't have raspberries you can always use a different berry for your "jelly". Substitutes could include blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries.
•💜 2 tablespoon of peanut butter. There is no substitute in this one!
•💜 1.5 cups of almond milk. You may use any type of plant milk to substitute here. I use unsweetened almond milk and that's why sometimes I like to add a little extra sweetener like erythritol or coconut sugar
•💜 25 grams of pea protein powder. This can be substituted for rolled oats if you don't take protein powder. 25 grams of powder protein is approximately ¼ cup of rolled oats
Optional ingredients include:
•💜 ½ cup of frozen spinach. I always like to add some frozen spinach to my smoothies. Its such an easy way to get some additional veggies into your diet and you can't even taste the spinach
•💜 2 teaspoon of erythritol
I like to add all of the above ingredients to my peanut butter and jelly smoothies

To make sure this vegan smoothie is a protein smoothie, don't skip on adding the protein powder! Check out this video below of this smoothie being made
Should I Use Frozen Or Fresh Fruit?
I like to use frozen berries. This means that I always have the ingredients on hand to make this smoothie. If you don't use frozen fruit, I recommend that you add a handful of ice to the smoothie
How Many Calories in This Smoothie?
This smoothie 425 calories (about the same if you substitute the protein powder for rolled oats too). That means that it is the perfect breakfast smoothie! I love making this as one of my regular vegan breakfast smoothie because all of the ingredients are easy to keep in your pantry, fridge, or freezer.
