If you are vegan or someone who chooses not to wear animals, then you have probably heard of the sustainable fashion brand Stella McCartney. Stella McCartney is a life long vegetarian and has never used leather, feathers, skin, or fur in any of her designs since day one. Therefore, Stella McCartney is a brand that I wholeheartedly support!
Stella McCartney Falabella
The Stella McCartney Falabella range uses a signature diamond cut chain with a soft ragged non leather material. This signature range comes in various colours as well as vegan wallets, vegan handbags, vegan tote bags, vegan clutches, vegan shoulder bags, and even a fold over tote bag, which can double as a clutch (I think this one will be my next purchase!)

The Signature Non Leather, Leather
I honestly expected that a vegan wallet would feel cheap compared to a real leather wallet. However, this is not the case at all with this wallet. I was pleasantly surprised when I unboxed the wallet and touched it for the first time. The falabella material is soft to touch with a ragged etching. Similar to the feeling of suede but a smoother leather finish. Although this is a vegan leather wallet, it certainly doesn't feel like it! Surprisingly, it feels just like leather!
And to make things even better, inside the box was this card explaining that the material will only get better with time!
Colour & Size
Colour
I chose the light grey falabella wallet over various other colours available and I absolutely love it! I feel like the light grey colour matches everything. Therefore, I believe that this wallet pairs perfectly with black handbags, tan ones, and even bright colours too!
Size
There is a longer wallet available if thats your preference. However, I love the size I got because it fits perfectly in any smaller clutch or crossbody bag, as well as fitting everything I need. I prefer to have the smallest size wallet possible to save me from needing to transfer loose cards & cash to a card holder so it can fit in my clutch or crossbody bag for an evening out or any event. I'm terrible as losing things and I manage this by making sure everything has a home and ensuring that it immediately returns to that home! (the wallet!).
The wallet is large enough for notes to fit perfectly in note compartment (I use Malaysian Ringgit). However, for the purpose of this article I decided to test it with the largest note that I have, which is 1000 Thai Baht. This note is 16.5cm long and it fits snuggly! There is also ample space for cards and coins. I was originally worried looking at the photos but it is definitely large enough. I can even put my house key in the most back card slot.
Why Did I get This Wallet?
I have needed a new wallet for a really long time now and was very indecisive. I knew I wanted a high quality wallet but I found it incredibly difficult to find a decent quality women's vegan wallet, let alone a luxury vegan wallet. Once I found the Stella McCartney range it was also difficult to tell just from photos alone. Eventually I decided to get this wallet and I asked my boyfriend to buy it for me Christmas. Best gift ever!! I don't regret it all. I'm so in love with the design, the feel, the colour, and most importantly that it is a vegan designer wallet with sustainability as the forefront of the brand intention. I'm looking forward to my next Stella McCartney purchase, because I highly doubt that this will be my last!
