    This healthy homemade salad dressing recipe is healthy, easy to make, sugar free, low fat, and tasty. Its the best recipe for salad dressing!

    How To Make The Best Recipe For Salad Dressing

    To make this salad dressing recipe with lemon, you will need the following ingredients

    💚 1-2 tablespoon olive oil 

    💚 Juice of 2 lemons

    💚 3 garlic cloves crushed

    💚 2 teaspoon sumac

    💚 1 teaspoon chilli powder

    💚 Sprinkle of salt on top of the salad

    What Type Of Salad Suits This Recipe?

    I made this recipe to go on my chickpea salads. The addition of the sumac is middle eastern inspired (usually sprinkled on top of hummus). The chilli powder is also a nice compliment to the sumac. I therefore recommend to pair this healthy homemade salad dressing recipe with a chickpea salad.     Meal Prepping

    I love to make this recipe as part of one of my meal prep plans. Often I will make one of the recipes listed above and combine it with this dressing. This is because it is made with minimal oil, which means it is low fat, low in calories, and a great healthy everyday salad dressing for my lunch. It's perfect for anyone who wants to follow a low calorie vegan meal prep plan for weight loss.

    Can I add more olive oil?

    Yes of course! I would recommend adding more olive oil if you don't like the tanginess of lemon.

    I don't want to add the sumac and the chilli powder

    If you aren't pairing this salad with chickpeas or another middle eastern inspired salad, the chilli powder and sumac may not be a good match. You can still make this recipe with just the lemon, garlic, and olive oil

    Ingredients
      

    • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil
    • 2 lemons, juice of
    • 3 garlic cloves
    • 2 teaspoon sumac
    • 1 teaspoon chilli powder

    Instructions
     

    • Peel and crush the garlic cloves
    • Juice the lemons
    • Add crush garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, sumac, and chilli powder to a jar and shake
