This recipe consists of 3 parts: the matcha, the dragonfruit juice, and the optional dragonfruit puree

Here’s what you’ll need to make this dragonfruit matcha latte:
- Matcha Powder: Use ceremonial-grade matcha for a vibrant green color and smooth, slightly earthy flavor.
- Milk (for matcha): 50ml of your preferred milk adds a creamy base for the matcha. I like to use oat milk.
- Dragonfruit: Half a dragonfruit, providing a naturally colorful and subtly sweet taste.
- Monk Fruit Sweetener: This zero-calorie sweetener enhances the dragonfruit’s natural flavors without adding sugar.
- Milk (for serving): 1 cup of milk for a smooth creaminess. I like to use oat milk.
- Ice: A handful of ice keeps the drink cool and refreshing.
How to Make Dragonfruit Matcha Latte
Ingredients
For Matcha
- 1 serving matcha (approx. 6 grams of ceremonial-grade matcha)
- 50ml milk of choice
For Dragonfruit Puree
- ½ dragonfruit
- ½ cup water
- 1 tablespoon monk fruit sweetener or any sweetener of choice
For Serving
- 1 cup milk
- 1 handful ice

Prepare the Dragonfruit Juice and Puree
- Peel and scoop the dragonfruit flesh and add to a small pot with water and monk fruit sweetener.
- Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until it becomes a thick puree.
- Strain the mixture through a sieve to create a smooth, bright pink dragonfruit juice.
- Mix the strained juice with milk to create a sweet dragonfruit milk.
- Set the dragonfruit puree aside and use at the bottom of the dragonfruit matcha latte if you want (it is also delicious without if you prefer a matcha latte without fruit chunks)
Whisk The Matcha
- Add matcha powder and 50ml of milk to a small bowl.
- Use a matcha whisk or electric frother to blend until smooth and frothy.
Assemble the Latte
- Add dragonfruit puree (if using) to a tall glass with ice.
- Then pour in the dragonfruit milk.
- Top with the frothed matcha.
